Webinar Checklist

Use this checklist to make sure your Zoom webinar runs successfully and looks professional.

  • Setting Up
    • Check the timezone settings of your webinar
    • Check recording settings
    • Check if lesson comments need to be on off?
    • Update Zoom version if required?
    • Make sure all slides are loaded and ready
  • 30min before start
    • Check resources / slides / presentations /
    • Make sure the main speaker has the computer set at eye level
    • Close unused windows and tabs
    • Check audio quality
    • Check lighting/shadows/background
    • Enter/Exit chime turned off
    • Enable participant mute on entry
    • Disable participants unmute themselves
    • Pre-established questions
  • Start Zoom
    • Start recording
    • Cancel waiting room
  • After the event
    • Remove site notice
  • Notes
    • Safari users cannot join with audio from Safari – they need to use the Zoom app if they want audio.
