Austere has supported DRG disaster and humanitarian operations in the developing world since 2017.

DRG has been provided pro bono satellite communications and a customised team operations management system (cross platform offline app) to ensure all deployed members are up to date with the latest mission information, shared maps, and GPS-enabled forms for collecting and managing field information.

The Austere Learning Hub is also provided to Backpacker Medics at no cost to enable the organisation to prepare members for deployment with quality online training and group training management.
